How to enable custom domain in Blogger

Dear Friends,

Being my first post on my own blog, I just thought I should pen down my experience in configuring custom domain to Blogger Websites.

Purchase a domain of your choice at any website such as godaddy,hostingraja etc..
Update the CNAME records in the website where you have purchased with the following CNAMES for pointing your domain.

CNAME List:

Name- www , Destination - ghs.google.com

Name-XXXX,Destination- XXXX as this is different for each blogspot.

3. Enable https which is a free ssl offered by google for blogger websites

And then the configuration is complete. Wait for 12 hours for the change to reflect for HTTPS.
